This blog is the story of our son, Eli Brooks Whittemore. He was born July 13th 2010. At a routine ultrasound he was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect. Tricuspid atresia, pulmonary atresia, ventricular septal defect and atrial septal defect. This blog is our effort to keep all of our amazing family and friends updated of our family's journey.

Surgery
For those who just want the basics - surgery is scheduled for tomorrow at noon. It should take about 3 hours. It will be performed by a real surgeon and not the one in this picture.
